Ok I got the Xecuter 2.3b pro a year or two ago and installed it in my xbox. It says that it is pre-flashed so I dont think I need to put bios on it but It still wont let me do anything like play games. My friend says it's cause I need to get a dashboard and I was wondering if this was true and if so where can I find them and how do I put them on my xbox? Plz help me Ive been waiting like two years to get my xbox working.
Did you install it yourself? If so, the Xecuter line-up of chips are flashed with a legal BIOS, and cannot load homebrew or back-ups, only originals. Get the latest BIOS for your chip off Xbins and flash it using your internet browser. After that, you can load back-ups and homebrew, regardless of whether or not you choose to load a dashboard on your hard drive or not.
Well I installed it but not thenios, it was pre-flashed, At this point all I want to do is play my xbox, but I cant
Can you're Xbox play games while the chip is disabled? If not, what comes up on the screen with a game inserted and without a game inserted? What shows up on the screen when the chip is enabled?
I just figured out how to play games normally...wow I feel stupid....anyways I still need to know how to put new bios on it, and how to put game mods on it and how to backup games...and how to put on a new dashboard, If you could tell me how to do all that I would be forever in your debt.
