a good wood-working router ?

    ok ok im not talkin wireless and whatnot i mean like wood working routers

    do you want a plunge router or a regular router? what is your budget as can be expensive?

    lol djscoop I didn't know Linksys was in the business of making wood working tools. :)

    DeeWalt (sp) makes a good router.

    haha, my bad...sticking foot in mouth...dewalt & makita are the way to go...

    well ddp i was reading an article in woodshop magazine and i do believe that i could get more use out of a plunge router although i was looking at the combo setups where it comes with one of each base price wise im pretty open i would like to start making nice stuff so i do want a quality one not just one that works i figure if im gonna buy one it better be a good one

    i was thinking dewalt but they come with a lot of stuff i dont need like dust collection systems at least the ones with the finer features

    I'm partial to Dewalt myself but, what ever brand you get, get at least a 3 H.P. so you could use it mounted on a table and do heavy duty routing. later Geo.

    & get 1 that can handle 1/2" shaft router bits.
