    Hi I'm newbie here.

I'm currently use TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6, while trying to add DVD Video (DVD-RAM), I have encountered the problem as below:

"The program is a mix of different video formats.

The video compression format (MPEG-1 and MPEG-2), resolution, and
the aspect ratio (4:3 and 16:9) need to be the same within the program.

The DVD-Video standard does not allow different MPEG video file format inside the same track.

VRO mode allows such files to co-exist in the same track. Set to advanced VBR mode or the like, a DVD Recorder can generate a program containing different MPEG file format.

Unfortunately the DVD-Video standard requires all the files inside a track possess the same format, therefore TMPGEnc DVD Author cannot use this program.

Please refer to your DVD-Recorder manual in order to set the recording mode in a compatible format avoiding Advance VBR or the like."

    Pls help.

ok you would want to use TMPGEnc DVD Source Creator or any other similar software which will convert all your files into mpeg, so in that program you will set the same settings for each clip such as: resolution & ratio.

    good luck
