a problem with yahoo messenger

hi fellas

i have yahoo messenger on my desk top but i noticed thatim getting these spam invites to be on peoples profile at yahoo groups..even when
i click on the their profile viewer its always empty and that they are
very new members..anyway i kinow i cant fix this in yahoo but is there another messenger with a different yahoo like service that doesnt have this issue or am i doomed to have thie problem 4 ever?thanks

Just get Digsby . You can have yahoo/gmail/AIM all in one.

does digby have an anti spam in it?ive been getting spams with yahoo
messenger and cant seem to stop it.i got some spams again with digsby.
can digsby stop it?thanks

nothing can stop it.. your address is public domain.

 

this is with only yahoo?if i opened another account say with hotmail ill still have this issue?

not until the spammers find it .. and they find it by random generation and various places you sign up to using your email.. a way to discourage them is to either delete spam or bounce it back on them.. WITHOUT opening it.
