My wife showed me this, can't figure out how the little bugger is corrrect all the time.

The big chart of numbers/symbols makes you think there's endless possibilties. But really there's only several possibilities, and they all have the same symbol, so naturally, this is the symbol they guess with.

Do it once, then go through again, with the same number. It will have a different symbol beside it.

Is it just me, or do all the possible answers seem to be multiples of 9?
