i bought a cd by this band from hot topic. i didnt kno much about them b4 i bought it. I went to go rip it to my ipod and itunes didnt recognize it. there was this install and the only way icould rip it is thru that software. the cd was protected by sony. now i was pissed i went legit and bought the cd and i couldnt even put it to my ipod . now i called sony and they are gonna get back to me, but im just going to exchange it bak at hot topic, they are going to lett me. im gonna try and c it b4 i return it. wtf is up with sony, i thought with the backwards compatability and fair use u should be able to rip ur own bought cd to ur own device. is this legal for sony to do this. the only way i could rip it was with some atrak format and windows media player. lets start a topic on this . the cd title was "faso latido".
Fraid its true. All the big companies are starting 2 do this now.
