Hi all, I realise that this may very be a common question but I really have tried to find the anser before posting this thred. I a bit of a newb and I've been around so many differnet websites and read so much conflicting information that I'm very close to braining myself with my keyboard. My problem is this: I'm converting an AVI in Xvid format to mpv/mp2 using TMPGenc. The source audio is MP3 3115 kb/s (57/ch, stereo) VBR LAME3.96r. After conversion the audio stream is silent. Thing is, about a month ago I coverted a similar file (Xvid/Mp3 VBR) and it worked fine. Might it be something to do the bitrate or something. Please help, only for the sake of my keyboard - it cost a few quid. Thanks in advance.
Hi. Eureka! You have to Virtual dub it first, don't you? D'oh! The amount of times I've posted a question only to find the answer myself half an hour later is getting silly.......perhaps it's pychological or something. Anyway, job done.
