a/v out to usb cable?

do they even exist because i goggled it and couldnt find anything helpful at all.

 

Such a cable does not exist. A/V is analog audio/video signal and USB is a digital data transfer.

 

so what would i need to get my video from my video camera to my laptop? is it even possible since there is no usb port?

My video camera is so crappy it doesnt even have a firewire port 0_0.
i guess im going to have to buy some sort of a laptop capture card.
The only problem is that i dont know what kind. I googled laptop capture card and I saw different kinds so maybe you can help me out.
