I have a CD Image that I need to burn to a CD in order to watch the video that is supposed to be in it. Someone told me to use Nero, but they didn't tell me what to do. I know I need to click 'Burn Image,' but after that, Nero asks me for different things like block size and image type(Data Mode 1, Data Mode 2, Audio, HFS). At the end, Nero asks me whether I want to burn, or 'create image.' I don't know what to choose. By the way, I'm supposed to use two files, one with extension .cue and the other with .bin. After clicking 'File>Burn Image' I chose the .cue file and got an error, but when I chose .bin, I got no error.
sounds like nero is having trouble interpeting the file because it should not be asking you those questions. But typically video is data mode 2 and you want to burn image not create. I would download cdrwin and try burning the image with that. cdrwin only does images and it does a great job.
The problem with the cue file is most likely, the wrong bin filename!! If you go to the cd-r forum, the frequently asked questions will help you fix that! Its caused by stuff being added to the filenames on p2p, like sharereactor is added to a lot of bin/cues! I dont recomend using Nero to burn VCD anyway, CDRWIN or even better Alcohol 120% is what to try out!
