a VirtualDub problem:

    When i try to load a .avi i get this error:

    [bold]Couldn't locate decompressor fro format "XVID' (unknown)

    Virtualdub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs such as those used by windows media player, are not sutable.[/bold]

    Pls help...

    The error means exactly what it says.......

    It is Telling you to install the XviD Codec but I personally prefer useing the "FFDShow Decoder" which will decode most all formats so you don"t have to install a Bunch of Codecs.....
