Why do dvd writers, cd writers and reader drives etc., spin clockwise? Ifn you don't knows I'll-a ask the question another way: why don't writers/readers spin anti-clockwise? Or in fact do they spin anti-clockwise in the southern hemisphere and clockwise in the northern...er...hemisphere? if so does this mean they don't spin at all on the equator which ultimately means the population of said ilk are bereft of moovies and music...there'll be few market stall traders there then...
