ABGX Question - Will my plan work?

Ok,
i don't know which firmware i've got (Ixtreme something) and i've just tried Beatles Rock Band and it says "Play DVD". All other games such as FIfa 09 etc work (back up games). Which leads me to believe i can't play 3rd Wave games.

I'm planning on updating my flash firmware next month.

NOW.

I have Halo 3 ODST, Madden NFL etc

All of which are 3rd Wave (apart from disc 2 of ODST).

I'm gonna use ABGX to

Check/Create dvd file
Check Stealth
Verify if Stealh passes
Check for updates

also im going to use abgx to

LEVEL2
Adjust angle 359 for iXtreme < V1.4
Fix C/R Table if data is invalid
Adjust Angles

Now, because my firmware is not reading 3rd wave games, will these settings change the iso into a game that'll be playable under any firmware. (i know, i know, i'll play offline).

Another queston, if i upgrade my firmware to 1.6, can i still use these discs? because i changed the angle (359?).
