I recently installed this motherboard and everything seems well but i am not having any sound, in control panel it says there might not be a sound device installed, i thought that windows xp could detect the driver for it if it detected the motherboard or am i wrong? do i need to download a driver for it? or am i missing something to this? im not using a sound card im using the integrated sound in the motherbaord. Another thing i saw when i installed the motherbaord was that the computer hangs on "windows is starting up" for about 1 minute and then everythings ok, is this somethin wrong in the registry? or do i need to format my hardive and start from scratch? any help would be greatly apreciated thanx
Nevermind, i formated the hardrive and installed the sound driver and everythings running fine now thanx.
