? About external hard drives...

    Hey i was woundering about putting a external hard drive on my PC, My wife takes alot of pictures and programs for digital photo,and thought it would make it easier for her. Any sugestion? PC spec's pentium4 30gig hard drive 512mb sdram, external dvd buner, xp home,

    you might be better off just getting a bigger internal hd which would be cheaper than an external unless she takes the external with her to download pictures onto other computers tho i doubt she does that.

    Like my friend, DDP suggests, internal HD's are cheaper. Do some comparisons and let us know what you think!! We can walk you through setting up an External or an Internal HD, no problem!

    ps: By the way, I have several internal hard drives and one external Maxtor 160GB that I use for all my backups. Just a suggestion.

    Bear with me on this can i have two internal hard drives.1 that runs my OS and the second or slave just for photo's and photo programs? I will diffently need some experts helps thanks for being there!!!!!!!

    depends on your motherboard bios as whether can boot off an usb hard drive. on my motherboard yes but seen others that won't so check either motherboard manual or user guide
