hi all. I hope this is in the right forum. I am using Winavi to convert avi files into dvd files. I want to know 1. If winavi extracts the subtitles from the avi? and 2. if not, what other program thats EASY to use would you suggest?? keep in mind i'm new to this and am learning. also just to let you know i dont want to DO anything with the sub file i just want to be able to see subs on the screen when i play my dvds. thanks again for all help
The AVI file should have a seperate Subtitle file with it unless the Subtitles are HardCoded into the Image in which case they can not be Removed because they are a Part of the Image...... So if you do not have a seperate Subtitle File with your AVI file then that Means the Subs are HardCoded in which case there is no way to extract them for the AVI file.... Cheers
