? about what tempature is supposed to be for cpu

    hello everyone I had a ? about tempeature for the cpu i was wonderin what AMD'S athlon 64 3300 is supposed to be running as in temperature wise. Also the same ? for a AMD athlon xp 2800+ ? Any info would be great.

    What 64 ? Winchester, venice, san diego ...the 2800xp should be about 53c on stock cooling, also depends on case fans

    hey jonni on the 64 im not quite sure which it is? under device manager it says its advanced micro devices that is the manufacture. I even went into the bios thing and it doesnt say. So i guess that advanced micro devices is it? well let me know if you got any info about it thanx

    nate2005 cpu-z can tell you core id or sisoft sandra 2005.
    about temps below 50Cº is recomend it lower better!! amd says 85Cº is the limit but performance decrease a lot pass the 50`s.

    ;)

    theres also a free applicaton from www.amd.com for cpu id wich i highly recomend!
