I bought the duplicator listed above mostly to make backups of some of my daughters favorite cartoons, etc and it won't burn the copyrighted discs. Is there any kind of program you can use in it to bypass that and copy the copyrighted discs? This may be a dumb question but I'm sure there's something out there that will allow you to do this? I've searched everywhere. Any help appriciated.

download the trial of anydvd (sits in back ground ripping copy protection out) while other software makes the new files and then you can burn them back to dvdr.

although your app may work i would recommend WITH! anydvd either dvd shrink/imgburn (2 apps) free, or cloneDVD2 they go very well with anydvd

    is this what you have

    http://www.amamax.com/acblarcosmpl.html

if it is it doesn't have an HD ??

so all you can do is make a copy of a non-protected backup

in which case you will need to use a normal PC to backup the store bought DVD first then use the duplicator to make copies

well spotted there ZoSoIV, yup looks like a stand alone copier...

although if you have a pc to get rid of protection, you can burn copies with that, so it makes it a long ol process changing to the other hardware, when the pc will do it there and then.
