My girlfriend and younger siblings all have the DS Lite. My girlfriend has an R4 that works perfectly and I am looking at getting a DS. I am unsure which to get, whether a DS Lite or a DSi. I plan on using a flashcard so I am unsure of the pros of getting a DSi. Seeing as the Shop channel or the cameras do not interest me much, mainly the matte finish and larger screen. Regardless, I was wondering, if I were to get a DSi and use a AceKard 2i with it, can I play games through WiFi/Download and play, with my girlfriend who is using a DS Lite and an R4? Thank you in advance for the help/input.
If the Shop channel and the camera do not interest you. I would not get one. I only bought mine for the camera its fun to play with. I cant tell a difference in the screen while playing a game really. Yes its a little bigger but not a big difference at all. And as far as I know download and play works.
