I have a slave drive in my new custom built pc from my old Dell. I am booting from a new Seagate drive running a clean copy of Win Xp. I need to access the old drives "%APPDATA%" folder. Since it is now slace, i browse to the location but when i click my old profiles name I get a "access denied message." I have tried to boot Win XP from the old drive but when it goes to the log in screen, my mouse and keyboard do nothing. If i hit the tab key on my keyboard my mouse and keyboard actually loose all power.

How can i get to the app data of the old HDD?
