I recently purchased a new PC and wanting to re-install the DVDXCOPY Platinum 4.0.3.8. version that I had purchased. How can I pass the activation screen so that I can use the product in my New PC instead of my old PC?

    Please advise. Thank you.

Save yourself a lot of headache and try freeware or AnyDVD and CloneDVD 2...

I figured after I spent $149.99 from BestBuy and only used limited of times and did not know that the company is gone until recently, I want to give it a try if any one can help me passing the activation screen. My new PC is faster and that was why I want to install in my new PC instead of running under my old laptop. Thanks.

Put it down to experience - probably the worst $149.99 you will ever spend for a discontined, unsupported product.

There are free alternatives or if you want to thown away money go for AnyDVD and CloneDVD for the half the cost.

remember also your dvd x copy WILL NOT backup many of the newer movies ,it will completly lock the program up so good luck ,if you need a real program shoot us back

Using 321's DVDXCOPY program now is like trying to connect to the internet with a typewriter....

Using 321's DVDXCOPY is like trying to send a fax with a telegraph.

I own DVDXCOPY too. I bought it at CompUSA a couple years ago. Take my advice and don't even bother with it. DVD Shrink and DVD43 will do even more then XCOPY and won't cost you a dime. Or buy AnyDVD and prevent the future headaches you're likely to encounter.
