Hi Folks, Reckon I'm trying to do something simple but seems too complicated for my simple brain I have a large AVI file and I want to simply set a start and finish mark of selected video, and then save as a new clip - ie - edit. I thought I could simply set the 'in' and 'out' marks and then use a few mouse controls to do a copy. Can anyone help? Many thanks.
1. import the avi into the project bin. 2. double click on the avi file in the bin. 3. move the video to the desired in point, click on the button that looks like "{" to set the in point, then the "}" for the out point. 4. Drag this avi on to the timeline window. 5. Export the timeline to a movie. 6. Done.
Im no expert but wouldnt it be easier using NANDUB ?saving the section u want as an avi then importing it into Premier ?
