    hi there,

i need to make a cd which contains an exe running a flash presentation. I also need to convert this presentation to a vcd. I have managed these two tasks. i face a problem while storing both the exe and the vcd files together on one cd in such a way that both these formats play on their own when inserted in their respective players. viz. if the cd is inserted in a computer's cd drive, i want the exe file to autorun and if the cd is insertd in a standalone vcd player i want the vcd movie to run.

I made a vcd in nero express 6. I made an image of the vcd files on my hard disk. i used ultra iso to extract the files/folder from the image file onto my hard disk. i added the flash exe/swf file to the extracted folders and burnt all these extracted files/folder onto a cd using nero 6 as a data cd.

Having done this, the vcd does not play in a standalone vcd player. On some players it displays the folder structure on the tv screen whereas on older players it shows 'track 01' only.

i need a solution where i can make the flash exe/swf files autorun on a computer and make the vcd play on its own in any vcd player.

Please note that my vcd also has a chapter selection menu.

Is it possible to find a solution thru nero 6 or do i need some other software program?

    Please help.

    Thanks.

VCD's are burnt mode2 form2 and each video (Dat file) is burnt as a seperate track. In fact maybe it is just the video that is mode2, form2, the rest is probably not mode2 since that would make more sense.

I finally found a solution to the problem by using vcdeasy to create the vcd. It also allows you to add non video files to the iso image of the vcd. i could add an exe file and also an autorun.inf so that the same cd can be played on a computer.
