Adding Own Clips To DVD's

    I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in but none of the others seem applicable. Basically I want to back up one of my DVD's (which I know how to do!) but I want to add a joke clip to the start of it which I am planning to do with my digital camcorder.

    I have plenty of editing software like Pinnacle Hollywood FX and Studio 8 but wondered if anyone knew the best way of going about it??

    I would obviously have to compress the DVD back-up down a bit too to fit the clip on.
