I have several dvd's with pics that I'd like to add to my ipod, but I don't want to lose what I already have added through itunes. How can I add them without syncing and losing everything I've already added?
First, make sure your ipod is connected. Then check "Manually manage song and video" just to be safe. Second, put all the pictures you want to add in a folder somewhere on your computer. In itunes, click the Photos tab. Then check the box "Sync photos from" and choose the folder you put your pictures in. Then click apply. Then uncheck "Sync photos from" so it doesn't do it automatically.
As suggested, I hit manage songs and video manually. But. when I click the sync checkbox to allow me to select a file, I get a notice that all other pics will be deleted. So I am worried that if I select the file, then hit apply then try to unsync, it will remove my old pics...
