well, normally the screen is fine, but when i try to play starcraft and warcraft II, i guess some older games, its off...its like shifted over to the left and up. i don't know what its called so i can't search for it...can anyone tell me how to fix it?
erm... because your games (most likely) run at a lower resolution than the resolution that Windows runs at, sounds as though the monitor hasn't been setup properly for those resolutions. ie if your Windows desktop is set to 1280x1024 or 1024x768, the games are probably running at 640x480, 800x600 or whatever; and the screen hasn't been adjusted for those resolutions. If it's a quite modern monitor there's either an auto button (it may not be called auto) on the front panel of the monitor itself or it may be in a setup menu, again accessible from the front of the monitor. You'd simply press whichever button once and bingo, the screen magically adjust for that particular resolution. If however it's not a modern monitor there'll still be buttons on the front of the monitor, but there'll be different buttons in the setup menu for manually adjusting the screen size (or there'll be a few buttons on the front panel that you have to alternate 'til you find the right button(s).
