Advanced DVD Motion Menus

    I was just wondering if someone could help me witha a good program for amking advanced motion menus(i want motion untill the end of my clip then i want the buttons to apear so far all i can get is for the buttons to be pressent from begining to end of the menu clip) any guides would be appriciated to thanks in advance.

    not sure of 100% but Adobe Encore DVD 1.0 i think does that kinda stuff, check it out!

    Any pro-authoring program can do this actually. What you do, is create a full motion mpeg-2 (which im sure you have done), then create your button overlay. I've done this with dvd Maestro and Scenarist, and it should be able to be done on all of them. For example in Maestro, there's an option to drag a slider to a point where you want the buttons to be accessable. The point in the mpeg-2 before this, I made an intro and then had the buttons pop up after. This is the point where i set the slider allowing the user to access the bottons only after that point. It would then timeout and loop at the end from that point as well, not playing the intro again. Very handy, below a picture.

    very much so. thanks alot. can i import the menu into dvd-lab pro?

    I'm not sure about importing it. But, I gather from the DVDlab Pro website that it has this feature.
