Hello! Have an Advent K4000 with a screen problem. I think the panel itself is fine because there are no cracks, breaks or leaked liquid and nothing looks wrong with it when it is off. When you turn it on it lights up half way for a moment then goes dark and has a few horizontal lines across the centre of the screen. What I want to ascertain is whether I should get just the inverter for the screen or if I should get a whole new panel? Anyone know a good way that I can go about finding out what I really need? I only have one laptop of this model at hand. Thanks.
No nothing really shows up, just different levels of dim light showing through and the horizontal lines...
