advice needed with patition magic

    hi,
    im in need of changing the partion on my main pc hard drive as the the partion which i use for programs is getting close to full.
    what is the diffrence between PM 8 and older version,other than its now owned by symantec.
    ive found a few older version,very cheap,on e bay.or is it a better option to get a new unlicenced copy.

    Version 8 is the only version that I have had, so I can't tell you anything about older versions.

    I can tell you that Version 8 works very well, and I would recommend purchasing it.

    I've used PM 6 up to the current version, and as long as you're just doing basic formatting and partitioning changes, the older versions should work fine. If you're using XP, I would double check that its compatible with it, but it should work fine. The changes in versions are minimal.
