Hi Guys. I need a new laptop.But it must have XP, or be capable of running it.I stupidly bought a sony cr series when on vacation in vegas from frys (so much cheaper than here in the uk)that came with infected with vista.I tried to get used to it but no way.What a bag of shyte.So I thought id put XP on it, and managed to do so but of course there are no xp drivers for this lappy, only vista....so my graphics, wireless etc wouldnt work.So I had to reinstall that crap and its been hidden away ever since until such a time i get a replacement, and ill take it outside and kick the shyte out of it (ill sell it really!|).So what i want to know is, where can i get a new core 2 duo that will run xp?Ive heard that some vista infected machines can also run xp with no probs (unlike sony cos theyre so anal).Price is not an issue, neither is buying from the US.Any help much appreciated!!!

Sony is not that good at computer, but since you've got it you should make it work good for you. I am not sure but I remembered that when I bought my lenovo laptop it is vista, and two weeks later I they helped me changed the OS to XP, and it is ok. I thought all vista pc can run xp, maybe I am wrong.
Unfortunately sony dont like to help customers!I had phoned them and they said words to the effect of 'it comes with vista, and vista only'
