onboard video means the videocard is part of the motherboard & can't be upgraded. check on the motherboard for a brown slot about the same length as the white pci slots but set back a bit further from the case back & close to the cpu. look on the motherboard for some writing as to make & model of the motherboard. look at the user guide or motherboard manual to see if an agp slot is available.
here a link to the com im thinking of buying is it worth it any opions welcom as i wanna play latest games on it cheersin adsvancehttp://www.packardbell.co.uk/products/node1601.asp?PartNumber=P700404501 so could i buy a new graphics card for it

most , but over a gig of processor would be more desirable, from what i've read after ya bought the pc,a video card ,an upgrade the processor you could of bought a better 1,check the prices at www.tigerdirect.com or a dell dude!
i tried that site couldnt find nothing listed by the way i havent bought it yet just thinking of buying it i go two days to decided or not
me personally i wouldnt but if ya dont have 1 an want 1 for cheap there ya go ,but i beleive most new games need 750mb of processor.but dont quote me.
ah sorry i must have written the thread wrong the specs your looking at are the com im using at moment these are the specs im thinking of buyingprocesssor intel clereon voltage 1.488v specification cpu 2.2 ghz code name northwood brand id 10 clocks core speed 2191.1 mhz multilplier x 22 fsb 99.6 bus speed 398.4 mhz l1 data 8 kbps l1 code 12 kuops level 2 128 kbps cache l1 data cache size 8kbps asoosiativity 4 way line size 12 kuops l2 cache location size on chip asoosiativity 2 way line size 64bytes l1 instuctions size asoosiativity n/a line size n/a motherboard manufacturer nec model sis 650 v1.0 chipset sis 650 rev 1 southbridge sis id8 sensor winbond w83697hf bios brand american megatrends version 3.0b date 02/11/02 graphics interface n/a version transfer rate aperture size side band memory type ddr2-sdram size 192 mb timings frequency 86.4 mhz fsb dram 3.2 cas latency 4 clocks ras to cas 4 clocks ras precharge 2 clocks heres also a link to the website where the coms on http://www.packardbell.co.uk/products/node1601.asp?PartNumber=P700404501 hope fully that will sort out the misunder standing so do u think its worth buying any opinions welcome
according to the info from the link it has an agp slot, so should be able to use that hercules videocard if it is agp. also upgrade ram to 512meg
i think the herculles is agp if not ile buy new graphics card soory to be a pest but i have a game hear its pro evolution soccer4 and the recomended system requirements are intel pentium 4 1 .5 ghz graphics video card direct x 8 geforce 4 with v ram 64 mbs or more main memory 256 or more ard disk 3 gbs sound card 100%direct x complient so could i play this game with this com even though this com isnt a intel pentium 4 and i take it ide have to buy that graphics card
the computer is a p4 but celeron version so can play the game & your hercules should work, how great i don't know.
the hercules has it's own ram which is totaly seperate from the motherboard ram so doesn't really matter.
