Advice regarding headphones

    I currently have a pair of the Monster Turbine ear buds, they aren't the gold version, bought them for about $120 at FutureShop. they do the job and sound good but was thinking about getting some headphones for when I am at home. I was looking at the Shure SRH440, they run at $120 at FutureShop. Anyone used these before? Are they more for music stuidos rather than using for iPod's? I will probably use them on my PC for listening to music. Any advice would be best. Are the Shure 440 better than the Monster Turbine?
