Hi, bought a new pc 18 months ago, a version of nero came installed with it, also dvd shrink, since then i've been using dvd shrink in conjunction with nero to back up and burn all my commercial dvds and its been great no problems, up until i installed nero 8 trial version to see what it was like, not realizing i had uninstalled my previous version of nero. now using the trial version of nero 8 and dvd shrink is a mess!! every time i try to make a back up copy of a dvd the finished burnt disc is deranged, the dvd doesn't begin at the begining but in the middle, i try to fast forward and rewind but the sections are all back to front, but when i play the same discs in the programme (power dvd 5) the discs are fine from begining to end no problem, (voodoo) since then i've uninstalled nero 8, and i'm now looking to get back my old version of nero, if not i'm looking for a quality freeware dvd burning software, could anybody shed some light on any of this???
