If this is not the correct place for me to post this, I apologize in advance...newbie and all. Here's the problem, after burning either a music cd, or a dvd, the audio skips like nuts. I've tried various media, as well as various standalone players, and lower burning speeds. I changed from nero 7 back to nero 6 since i had read that 7 has been causing some problems. because of an unrelated issue, i just recently refomatted my harddrive with xp sp2. up until i've had no problems at all with burning either music or dvds. the only other major change i've had is i've changed my case....which leads to my question..... either the skipping is bad media (on multiple types), software and/or drivers, or something internal that I may have connected incorrectly. i have a 2.4 p4, 1 gig of ddr, 2 hhd on master ide, the cdrw and dvdrw on the other ide. the cdrw is set to master and dvd is slave, which is the exact same set up i had before changing the case out. the only thing i can think of i may have set up incorrectly is the audio cables for the two cd burners, but i cant see why having one in the cd slot and the other in the aux would make a difference. i guess what i'm really asking is that if anyone figure out why the audio on both my burners would go bad at the same time (and yes, everything i've tried burning plays perfectly when on the pc). Thanks
