hay guys can someone sep me through how you become a moderator and how long it will take because i wouldnt mind becoming a moderator of afterdawn forums and i dont mind earning my way up to it.
help more on the site with good help posts...is the way to modship.. Newbie to Junior Member -- 25 posts Junior Member to Member -- 100 posts Member to Senior Member -- 500 posts Senior Member to Addict -- 2500 posts anyone to Moderator -- determination and bribes to admins anyone to Admin -- decent six-figure (euros or dollars, they are not picky) lump sum to AfterDawn's Swiss bank account Also,posts made in the safety valve do not count.
People that ask NEVER become mods. You become a mod by behaving properly, by being a good example to the rest of the people here, and of course the moderators have to suggest you as a possible new mod to the admins.
Indeed, and seeing as ddp here is almost as fast as the lightning he uses to fry the badly behaved people, it'll be a long time before a spot opens up (or at least, i hope so).
we've got hundreds of thousands of registered members and about 20 mods. there's thousands in line before you. unless you plan on sticking with this forum for at least another 5 years, you will [bold]never[/bold] become a mod. that's just the way it is.
Not to mention that people that ask for a spot as a mod don't deserve that title IMHO, as they usually want it for all the wrong reasons.
well if i remember i said im not going to be asking questions about becoming a moderator est. as The_Fiend said it takes ages and people who ask wont get in usally.

Want to know why questions like that get nowhere.. Think on, those who ask think more of themselves than they rightly deserve, as Auslander so correctly states.. I have a list of people who, as long as I wield the big stick will never get a look in.. Regardless of how capable they prove to be. Just because they asked.. I have a feeling that Hell is going to have to stop accepting new members, expand a great deal and ol' Louis is gonna have to stop having barbies before you have a hope..
