    http://www.teammodders.com/forum/how-to-find-your-xbox-emulators-and-roms-t78.html

try clinking some of those liks and reading a bit of the infor to see if that helps. Some people have to edit their INI file to point to the correct place where their roms and emulators are at until they will be able to see them.

an easier way is to go to torrent sites looking for Slayer 2.7
it will have a ton of emulators roms, applications and dashboards that can be installed in one simple step.

then of course there are also BAED discs out there on torrent sites
(Big A$$ Emulator Disc) these have a ton of roms and emulators in an ISO form, you just burn them to a DVD and play them from there.
    There are 3 i know of, 2 are for various consoles (BAED1 & BAED3A)
and one is all handheld systems like the Gameboy (BAED2)

i did a search for Slayer 2.7 and it said something about no supposrting soft mods....the thing is i downloaded the emulators from xbins and they are all rar files well most of them are....so am i supposed to modify them somehow or just put them in a certain folder when i FTP my xbox...
i hope i am not to much of a bother its just alot of this is realy confusing...and i know you guys have a rule here to look things up before asking but i cant seem to find any usefull information(well that i can understand anyway) and the site you gave me the link to i opened the emulators i wanted but it just shows me lots of wierd text and codes....and wont let me download anything...sorry and thanx again

    emulators.. Put them in E:\apps.

Then open the emulators individual folder and find out where the roms go. You will probably need to edit your evox.ini file to display an "emulators" line on the dash..

The line should go something like..

    <"emulators" , E:\apps\emulators autosort , depth=2 ,</emulators>

That's completely from memory. Here is a good guide to the evox.ini file..

The best installer for softmod upgrades is xwizard.. it's on piratebay.

the EvoX.ini file is what tells your dashboard where everything is on the hard drive. so editing that to point to where your stuff is may solve your problem.

that or possible looking at the ini file and seeing where it points to, then moving the folder there.

but if the ini file says your emulators are in say
    F:/Apps/emulators
and they are really in Z:/emulator
this is not right and will not work.

i didn't see it mentioned above so let me ask what may be to obvious to some of the others.......what dashboard are you running?

i use XBMC myself and all emulators are stored in F/emulator folder and all you do is un-rar them and FTP them directly into that folder and XBMC will show them under emulators.

as far as not having an emulator folder, MAKE ONE, you can do that you know.

Download them seperate. Do you have a stock Hd, or a bigger one? Make a E:\\skins folder and put your skins in there.

160 bucks is ballpark for a new chip a 300 gig harddrive and the installation of both.
