At what point does the status change (instant, 24 hours, 1 week, etc...)? When I click on "Edit My account" in the top right hand corner, it lists that I have posted over 500 messages. According to the Rankings link above, I should have become a senior member several posts ago. In all honesty, I could care less about the ranking, but I'm curious if the numbers have changed or if there's some other reason.
A lot of forums also have it setup where posting in certain forums do not count towards post count... they're usually forums like the General Discussions part of AfterDawn which are all general chat and off topic discussions. Not sure if that's how it is here, but majority of the forums I belong to have it setup that way.
POsts made in Safety Valve and, from what I can remember, All Other Topics don't count towards your status but are added towards your post count. Unfortunately, no one really gives a rat's tail for either, so move along kids ;-) /me waves at D - long time no type, hope all is well in Canada!
