Hi! I have a Memorex DVD+/-RW Dual-X1 internal DVD recorder in a Pen 4 system and I am trying to use Alcohol 120. The software recognizes the DVD player assesses it to be compatible both on their website as well as the software's "detaled info of device" but I keep getting the message "insert disc" when there is an empty disc in the drive. I have tried using Maxell DVD+ and DVD- discs as well as imation discs.
try clicking Recording in Options on the left hand side and check the box that says Book Type DVD+R/DVD+RW disc as DVD-ROM while burning and see if this helps. If that doesn't we will try somthing else.
Have you formatted the disc with Alcohol? You need to do this before it will recognize it as empty & continue to burn with it.
