for some reason now when I try to burn protected disk image CD, I see this( read data examination error at # & keeps going with error same message but at different number. I burned before with no problems, I even tried to burn a back up copy that was burned with Alcohol and different PC game got the same. Feedback please.
1) Using latest Alcohol 120 build? 2) ASPI layer conflicts? ASPI 4.6 is most stable 3) What pc protection is on your backup? Shoey
hey Shoey, that's right I'm using the latest version, ASPI 4.7, Software saveDisk V2.7, but as I said I copied those before using Alcohol with no problem, oh well I guess I'll try something. Thanks
You can still play the backups of Safedisc 2.7 in your cd burner by using emulation m8. Open Alcohol 120>general>options>emualtion and enable "ignore media type& bad sector emulation". Now min imize Alcohol 120 to system tray (statup) and play your backup in your burner, not your dvd\cd-rom. What name& model cd burner do you own? Do you know if your cd burner is a "2 sheeper" or a 1 sheeper"? (Counts sheep....) Tried early ASPI version, no luck, it must be something small that I'm not seeing it, by the way model is Benq dvd+R+RW model DW-400A.
It's a "possabilty" that Alcohol 120 doesn't fully support your Ben-Q dvd burner m8. Try Blindwrite 5 5.1 as an alternative. Be sure that when you install the ASPI Layer 4.6 (exe) to reboot your system, then run ASPI check to see that all drivers read 4.6.
