I tried most of the conversion programs for my video ipod and all of them have some faulty output.
Free Vido conversion that is somewhere here rewrited video file to avi but after putting it to ipod i cannot fast forward past 1hr time, if i let it play it will pass the 1hr time but there will b no sound after like halfway through movie.
I tried 3GP converter but the file freezes on computer when attempting to play.
Videora on the other hand goes well but then there's sound out of synch the more inte the movie the more it starts to go out of synch.
Cucusoft worked perfect but then I have Trial version so there's that Free Trial sing when converting. Thinking about buying.
DvD Ripper Platinum i'm about to try, but that's only for DvD copying not video formats.

What other options do I have when it comes to free software ? Or how can I fix Videora so the sound will b right after converting ?

I was in the same situation as you. I could not find a good free converter. I just decided to pay the money and get PQ DVD. It is fast and easy to use. You can try the 5min trail version to make sure it works too.

Maybe i'll just end up buying PQ
But how do u get it. U pay visa and then they ship the program to u, or do they send it to yur e-mail ?
Also are there any options to buy it without visa ? I don't have visa :(

Not as far as I know, I belive PQDVD is an internet-purchase-only software. You don't have it shipped to you..you download it, and then you pay for a reg. code to activate the full version - though I do believe you can purchase the CD over the net.

You can just download the trial. The trial is pretty much the program but locked. It doesnt alow you to convert past 5 min. In the trial you can just enter the code given to you by the company after you have brought it. The code is sent via email. No extra downloading is required. And i would check to make sure the 5min video works on your ipod. It would be disaponting to find out it doesnt after you have brought it.

(lol sorry lethal and i posted at the same time so now you have two answers) :)

serpiroth. It's no problem. If everone is enthusiastic in answering questions, then it doesn't really matter if one answer is similar to another.

It's fine as long as it's by mistake. What gets on some people's nerves is when one repetitively says "second that", or "yeah, do what he says!", as those sorts of phrases are unnecessary and don't help anyone .. :)

Ok, i just tried the trial version for the free 5min, very nice.
The only thing is that other programs started on beggining nice too, but after like halfway through the movie u started to notice the sound is out of synch. Guess I will have to buy it and then check cuz I have no other options

I doubt they will refund you, but I can honestly say that I have converted in excess of 1000 videos using various converters, and PQDVD has never given me any problems.. audio sync or otherwise..
