Hello, I have just found my Amiga 500+ & Sega megadrive 2 in the loft and am trying to resurrect them. It works fine on my 14inch CRT TV, but when I connect it to my Toshiba Regza the TV just wont recognize them, I am trying to connect the Amiga through Scart cable and the Sega through AV Any ideas? I would check in the menus; the ports may be disabled by default (or by the channel scan), or there might be some settings related to upscaling for legacy resolutions.
Thanks for the heads up I will have a look at that, although I am not holding out too much hope, as I have been googling the problem and found that old systems use frequencies of 15Hz, and modern TVs aren't capable of displaying them. But I am thinking it must be possible to convert them somehow? Any suggestions?
you could try hooking a VCR up to the tv through Av cables and running the video games through that.not sure if it would work or not.
