I have a Sony Vaio with RCA inputs for analog capture, and I have a question. THe settings in my Giga Pocket says MPEG2, and I was wondering is that okay for the analog capture since the video goes straight to Click to DVD and I can edit it and record to DVD from there, or is there another recommended program since I see many say that AVI is better?

MPEG2 is the video format for DVD. AVI (raw) is only necessary if you will be doing heavy editing such as colour correction or noise reduction. For basic editing such cutting out scenes the MPEG2 is fine.
