is there any program which could tell me what is using the usb. when i try to eject the drive i often get a error that it is still in use, and im not even using it. so is there a program which can show me whats using the usb drive so i can close it.
Does this 'can't eject' problem exist only for that usb thumb drive, or all usb drives? Try copying all the files contained on that usb drive, to somewhere else that's safe. Now delete all files on that usb drive and see what happens. To view what's running, use the Task Manager. This will give you some idea at least, as to what maybe accessing those usb drive files. But I really suggest you empty the volume first. How'd you go?
well its not a problem for say. but sometimes when i finish using any usb device it will eject fine with no problems, but sometimes it will say something is using it even know i finished using it
