    Are they're any patches for Xbox Live so if you softmod you are unable to get banned, or have a less likely chance?

    No there isn't a patch you can get if you are worried about getting banned from Xbox Live. Xbox Live has a program that can check to see if you have moddified your Halo 2 maps in any way.

    you're all nebs just delete the updater application from your hardrive its in the gamesave section

    haha...sorry, thats incorrect bro.^ You can't just delete it and be able to go on live. If you delete it, then you have to redownload it.
