i don't know why i never use anydvd and clonedvd. i only know that ripit4me and dvdfabdecrypter never let me down.
yes AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 are member favorites around here. So is RipIt4Me and there are a slew of others that are great. check out what I have: I also have Nero that the icon is on my desktop and not in my DVD Programs folder, as shown.
@IHoe, A very impressive selection you have there!! I have AnyDVD and Clone DVD ,they are really old as I lost my s/n about 18 months ago after system re install and havent been able to update, so far they handle MOST movies, Cheers.
I am a total evangelist for AnyDVD, but around November through this latest beta 6.1.1.2 I was having problems with their software. Perhaps this is why people still post... As my back up I use the latest Ripit4me macro/suite it does the trick on those pesky new titles that SlySoft had not updated for yet. BUT...to give Slysoft the best light here I believe that they have been targeted as one of the encrypters to "break" by the industry. Fortunately they update...and update...and update! @gwendolin - AnyDVD used to have this ominous statement saying they can NOT replace key's but the other day I noticed it changed...now they say they can but it is a big pain in the ass so don't ask unless you have to. @Ireland - Nah Boyo, t'was another gal who lost her key. I backed mine up in several places after reading the slysoft faq...before it changed it was ominous. I was just trying to help.
