i have a hp200i writer with sonic record now 6.5.1,my question is weather any dvd and record now would shrink a movie to fit a dvd+R IF THE MOVIE IS LONGER THAN TWO HOURS like most of the regular dvd copy progeams do.
anydvd will not shrink movies..that is not what it is intended for.its a silent piece of sotfware that removes copyright protection.(my mistake) have you tried dvd shrink?
Actually AnyDVD isn't a ripper also. By itself it can't rip anything. It runs in the background and disables css encryptions and region codes. I guess it makes it easier to rip.
Nero has RECODE in it which is actually written by the Shrink Author but can't decrypt. So running Anydvd behind it will allow you to shrink or compress a large dvd. Record Now doesn't have anything like RECODE in it so you can't compress with it. It should copy a small dvd5 movie using Anydvd but thats about it. Jerry
