    Just a thread that i aint seen knockin around..

    I heard the new lan enabled boxes cannot be used 2 on the same network unless using homeplugs or something? (could someone confirm?)

    Now, if i was to purchase a Starview 7/Kryptview a780/Other Lan Box, will the following work:

    Modem -> Router
    Router -> Ethernet Switch
    Router -> PC
    Ethernet Switch -> XBOX360
    Ethernet Switch -> PS3
    Ethernet Switch -> Revo r3610
    Ethernet Switch -> *Lan Enabled box*

    I know thats only one box in the setup.. but does it work from an ethernet switch and if so, is it possible to connect 2 via an ethernet switch?

    you should have at least 4 empty ports on your router and you can always buy a hub 8/16/24 port and use that i suggest you hard wire your boxes etc for the best results

    hi mate thanks for the reply, i forgot to mention that everything above is hard wired with ethernet wires (wireless is the laptop which i forgot to add)

    the router itself has 2 ports available and the ethernet switch has 4 ports available (8 port switch)

    would the box work through the switch?

    all of the above works simultaniously.. so i dont see why the box won't.. but ide just like to confirm this for other users if they have a similer setup

    i just thought the only thing that would stop it from working is if there was another box in the setup (which if i read correctly you can have 2 on the same line without homeplugs??)
