ANY PROBLEMS WITH DELL DIMENSION DVD BURNER?

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and am looking to purchase a Dell Dimension 8250 with the 4x DVD burner. Has anyone experienced any problems in burning a DVD with Dell's dvd burner option? I know it's a DVD+R. Will that make a difference? Please help this newbie. Thanks in advance.

 

You might want to take a look at what model it's recognized as in the device manager.

 

I haven't purchased one yet. I'm considering it though. Does anyone out there have a Dell Dimension with the DVD burner that can help us out?

 

I'll let ya know in a week. That's when my Dell computer should be here. I also got the DVD Burner as well.

 

My Dimension 2350 came with a NEC ND-1100A

DVD+r RW / CD-R

 

Is it any good? Can it burn DVD PS2 Games?

 

Don't know yet. I purchased DVD-R only to find out that I need DVD+R. I am new the the DVD burner world.....
