Any program around that I can use to get rid of subtitles ona DVD video / mpeg?

    Are the embedded? that means inside the video, not a seperate .srt file or whatever,then probably no.

    If the subtitles are enbedded in the movie, they cannot be removed and that's it.
    If they are in a separate file, simply delete the file.
    If they are embedded as a subtitle stream in a MPEG2 file, they are only played on DVD or SVCD players, and they are switchable so you usually you do not want to suppress them. But they can be supressed bay demuxing and remuxing that audio+video streams.
