After looking at the forums for Xbox discussion I thought this was the correct place to post this question but if not I'm sorry.

I asked such a question a few years ago but that before Xbox360 was released so does anybody know of any genuinely working Xbox emulators?

I get the point, making a picture for it was over the top, give me a break will ya? The questioned been answered so this is no longer a viable thread.

    :D it's just a joke, lighten up.

I hope you found varnull's post that had a bunch of links and the reason why you got that answer. Also, there's a link out there with a bunch of emulators i packaged and uploaded, so just search it's the best thing to do.

There is no xbox emulator (there are 2 but they don't play games) cxbx and xeon?.. one will just about play halo ntsc.. slowly and with much crashing.. cxbx is used to make gamesaves and for hombrew devs to make xbe executables..

The xbox has become a dirt cheap console very quickly, so all the development work on emulators of it have stopped. When it becomes an old and scarce console and 8 core cpu's are common you may see work start again. See.. the hard bit about the xbox is it isn't a normal coppermine cpu.. It runs a custom restricted instruction set which has never been released. That makes life very hard for software writers who are trying to "copy" a piece of hardware using software... plus cpu's aren't really fast enough yet to emulate a 766.. you need about 10x the number of cycles to get close.

Emulators FOR the xbox are a different matter. There are heaps. xport.xbox-scene
