Hey folks, i've recently discovered some previous cd's i have burned have started jumping on my cd player, maybe i'm doing something wrong, whats the best way to burn? say i have a cd i want to copy, is it best to rip the audio in wav format then burn? would it also be better if i burned at a slower speed? I know i've got a decent burner (lite on) and my software is decent too (nero). Thanks for any advice Gordie.
CD-Rs are aging quite fast. After 5 years there are reading problems with the majority of burned CD-Rs. This problem can't be solved using different software, burners or burning speed. It's mostly about how lucky you are buying CD-R media. For valuable data / music etc. I suggest some additional backup sollution like harddrives.
